Casa Mana

OVERVIEW

Transformed by travel photographers Ana Lui and Matias Alexandro, Casa Mana is a fully restored 110 year old farmhouse on four hectares of organic land in Mallorca, Spain. Home to olive and carob trees and an onsite organic farm, the property features four bedrooms, open concept indoor-outdoor living and a salt water pool overlooking the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. Available for bookings of the entire villa, Casa Mana is an idyllic retreat for families and friends looking to escape to the rural tranquility of the Mallorcan countryside, just minutes from the heart of wine country.

SUSTAINABILITY

Committed to creating a more sustainable future and the belief that tourism can exist in harmony with the environment, Casa Mana uses efficient lighting systems, low pressure water installations and an eco-friendly system for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. In addition to growing onsite vegetables and herbs, the property’s owners source local products and services wherever possible. Casa Mana is plastic free and all cleaning products and toiletries are organic.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Sustainably and sensitively restored to retain the soul of the original property and to respect the pastoral setting, Casa Mana offers the perfect blend of rustic luxury. The bespoke interiors feature ochre walls, stone floors and beamed ceilings—complemented with understated decor and contemporary Balearic art. Guests are encouraged to pick fresh produce and herbs from the property’s organic garden, and can watch sheep graze from the salt water pool.

LOCATION

Surrounded by nature and overlooking the Tramuntana mountain range (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Casa Mana is located just 25 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport, 25 minutes from the island’s capital Palma and 30 minutes from the sandy beaches of Port de Pollença and Port d’Alcúdia. The closest town is Binissalem (just a 5 minute drive)—the centre of the island’s wine region where several of Mallorca’s most prestigious vineyards can be found.
